What should I wear to class?

Wear comfortable clothing like yoga pants and a fitted tank top or t-shirt. This allows for easy movement and helps the instructor check your technique. For Belly Dance Classes, we usually dance barefoot on in dance slippers.

For our Burlesque Classes, void wearing stilettos; we usually dance barefoot or in dance slippers.

Do I need any dance experience to participate in classes?

No prior dance experience is necessary. Our classes are designed to cater to all levels, from complete beginners to advanced dancers

We offer a variety of styles including Turkish Oryantal & Folkloric, Egyptian Oriental & Folkloric, American Cabaret, Andalusian, Tribal Fusion, and even Vintage Burlesque.

Can I drop in for a class or do I need to register in advance?

While we do accept drop-ins for some classes, we highly recommend registering in advance to ensure your spot, as class sizes are limited.

What should I bring to class?

Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. For specific classes, like our burlesque workshops, you may need additional items such as a boa or gloves. Details will be provided upon registration.

Is there a minimum age requirement for your classes?

It depends on the type of class:
Burlesque classes are designed for adults 18+
Belly Dance Classes are open to students 16+, however students as young as 14 may participate as long as mom or other adult female family member is also taking the class with her.

How do your Summer Belly Dance Intensives work?

Our Summer Intensives offer the same 6 one-hour classes condensed into a 3-week period, with classes held twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This setup allows for faster progress and more flexibility with your summer schedule.
